Welcome to Prayer Ground, a new way for Aussie Christians to come together and believe for the Great Southland of THE HOLY SPIRIT.

Here at Prayergound we have been believing for a lifting of the drought, where the animals and the crops will grow to there fullest potential once more. An Australia that will see a transformation in the landscape, people and spiritual wellbeing of all mankind. This kind of blessing can only come from Jesus Christ, the one that Life has always been about.

IT IS TIME TO MOVE THE RAIN’S FOCUS ON THE DAMS OF AUSTRALIA BY MOVING OUR FOCUS ON JESUS CHRIST IN THIS NATION. IT’S TIME TO GIVE THANKS TO OUR CREATOR FOR ALL THAT HE IS NOW DOING, AND IS YET TO FINISH!!

ISAIAH 43 of the Bible says it like this:

But forget all that, it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do a brand new thing. See I have already begun! Do you not see it?
I will make a pathway through the wilderness for my people to come home. I will create rivers for them in the desert.
The wild animals in the fields will thank me, the jackals and the ostriches too, for giving them water in the wilderness. Yes, I will make springs in the desert, so that my chosen people will be refreshed. I have made Israel for myself, and they will someday honour me before the whole world.

ISAIAH 43 / 18 - 21. New Living Translation.

Here in Australia we are starting to see that very transformation thanks to the prayers of humble people who are being largely ignored for their efforts by man. Here at Prayerground we fully agree that today the rain is here due to God answered prayers of many christians around the country. We congratulate the many true believer’s who have fasted and prayed in the past for the breaking of this drought. Your prayers have been heeded by an awesome God. Creator of Heaven and Earth, for He is the maker, and He can maintain everything He has made if we only ask in prayer.

We thank God for His faithfulness in times of hard hearts. We speak of a CHURCH THAT PRAYS TOGETHER, STAYS TOGETHER and behold, now we have gone from 32% Warragamba Dam levels to over 50%! The challenge now is for us to gather and produce prayers for an ever listening God…… AND ASK FOR 100% !

It is an exciting time to live as we see the world coming to it’s inevitable end so as God can claim her back as His own. We are all built in His Image and not an image of pointless man without God. You need to know that prayer has power and answers for this unjust world.

We are coming into a season that requires us all to stand up and be counting the blessings and provisions of God! If you mock God and His ability then you are on a slippery slope in this nation of Australia. There is still a great work to do, will you be a part of it?

The world cannot perceive, cannot understand, what God does through His chosen children. Like the world, many religions, cathedrals and churches will only perish without JESUS CHRIST.

About three years ago we held our first prayer objective at Warragamba Dam, Sydney’s water supply. At that point there was no breakthrough in human sight. At that time we only had a desolate Australia fast falling into a pit of no good return. Three weeks after that event we saw Newcastle in flood to the amazement of many in New South Wales. How easily we forget God when the going gets good, we forget the only one who is good. Jesus and His Holy Spirit transformed our state from then on because we asked for the drought curse to be lifted and ordered satan and his cronies out of Warragamba!

Well PRAISE JESUS! He makes faithful people beautiful somebodies in heaven, and that’s all we need for great things to come about! As a result of prayer that Dam went from 33% to 68% back in 2007. Not bad for a group of “Prayers”. It was something none of the Godless will ever “GET”. Now the Dam is receding down to just over 56%.

I prayed and asked God for the reason for this reduction and He let me know it was because of our lack of faithfulness in Thanking Him! We are on another collision course with drought if we don’t lift our Praise and Worship to Him for His great work.

This is not about what scientists think or politicians think, this is about WHAT GOD THINKS!!!
If we don’t honour Him then why should He honour us with His 100% provision? Only an unjust parent would keep handing candy to an ungrateful child…. right? We keep forgetting…..
His provision has always been there for us! We just never knew how to ask for it!….
AND BE THANKFUL!

You see, as a christian we need to get a hold of true prophecies and speak them into being. This is why the VISION STATEMENT of PRAYERGROUND goes like this:

TO JOIN IN HUMILITY AND REPENTANCE.

TO PLANT PRAYERS IN THE GROUND THAT GOD HAS GIVEN.

TO ASK GOD TO TRANSFORM OUR LIVES THROUGH THE ANOINTED POWER OF JESUS CHRIST.

TO TAKE BACK ALL THAT GOD HAS FOR THIS NATION.

TO CLAIM AUSTRALIA AS THE GREAT SOUTHLAND OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

TO BRING US FORWARD TO A NEW DAY, SO THAT THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD

WILL SEE US AND CALL US BLESSED……. HIS KINGDOM COME, HIS WILL BE DONE.

Long before Australia was established a word was spoken into the foundation of this nation by a Captain Pedro who sailed in those days under a Spanish flag. He longed for the day when he would see the beauty of this wide brown land. In fact He missed the mark, instead landing at Vanuatu. But still believing that this island was Terra Australis Incognito he held a mass and stated the following:

THE PROCLAMATION BY PEDRO FERDINAND DE QUIROS

Day of Pentecost, 14th May, 1606

Let the heavens, the earth, the waters with all their creatures, and those present, witness that I, Captain Pedro Ferdinand de Quiros…in the name of Jesus Christ… hoist this emblem of the holy cross on which His person was crucified and whereon He gave His life for the ransom and remedy of all the human race…on this day of Pentecost, 14th May….I take possession of all this part of the south as far as the pole in the name of Jesus…which from now on shall be called the southern land of the Holy Ghost…and this always and forever…and to the end that to all natives, in all the said lands, the holy and sacred evangel may be preached zealously and openly.

Even though he was in Vanuatu, his heart and belief was for the Australian and New Zealand region. We at Prayerground believe that the GLORY OF GOD has no distance, no separation. We also believe that the British were chosen by God to colonize Australia, and not the Spanish or Asians. The rejected convicts for petty crime colonized Australia, and in turn the rejected……. rejected the Aborigines. You are what you eat and you do as you are taught. With every take over of nations there is bloodshed. Through fear people kill each other. It is by working through this fear we understand more about ourselves.

I am personally over the blame game of overseas countries when it comes to their judgement of us and our treatment of Australian Aborigines. I am also very much over the internal squabbling, you all still haven’t found a solution, you only continue to draw the battle lines. JESUS and only JESUS can bring about RECONCILIATION for THIS NATION, for HE is the reconciliation master. His whole message is RECONCILIATION. His IMAGE UNITES US ALL!

HE RECONCILED all of mankind on that cross two thousand years ago. The blood was spilt, His body left for dead. He died for the nations, and that’s all Australians! Yet mankind still thinks he can solve the problems of the world without JESUS. WRONG! THINK AGAIN and learn to PRAY AGAIN. People think that the idea of a God is an ancient dead old thing, BUT ONLY THE SPIRIT OF MAN IS TRULY DEAD WITHOUT HIM, THE CREATOR OF BOTH HEAVEN AND EARTH. If you think that the EARTH is HELL, then I am here to tell you, HELL IS MUCH WORST THAN THIS. For that is where the failings of man lie. A place meant for the devil and not for you. ONLY TRUE RECONCILIATION IS POSSIBLE THROUGH JESUS, JESUS, JESUS.

PRAYERGROUND has only been going since the beginning of 2007 in my heart, and on May 19 with our first Prayer event at Sydney’s Warragamba Dam water supply Town. We broke an evil stronghold that was held over that area that weekend simply because we were sensitive to the directions of the Holy Spirit. The very Holy Spirit Jesus left us when He, in turn, left the earth. Since then the record drought has been losing it’s stronghold, and it will continue to lose it’s grip as long as we are Faithful and Prayerful to His call.

YES JESUS, THE ONE CONCEIVED ‘OF’ THE HOLY SPIRIT, BAPTIZED ‘IN’ THE HOLY SPIRIT AND WHO INTRODUCED US ‘TO’ THE HOLY SPIRIT.

So we must be found made ‘OF’ the Holy Spirit, immersed ‘IN’ His Holy Spirit, and clinging ‘TO’ His Holy Spirit in every area of our lives……

As Prayerground continues into 2010 we will be lifting prayers for the reconciliation of mankind throughout Australia. In particular a reconciliation between NEW AUSTRALIANS, AND INDIGENOUS AUSTRALIANS.

I believe the only way to find friendship and love for one another is through the message of Jesus Christ.

Now is the time to change the spiritual landscape, through the anointed power of the Holy Spirit.

By no other name will true reconciliation come, no mohammad, no budda, no other man-made God can do this, or has cared enough to help us do this. We need to truly WAKE UP AUSTRALIA!

DEAR CREATOR, YOU KNOW WHAT THIS COUNTRY NEEDS RIGHT NOW IN ORDER THAT IT PLAYS IT’S PART IN YOUR KINGDOM. YOUR KINGDOM THAT IS SOON TO COME IS WHERE WE NEED TO FIRMLY PLANT OUR PRAYERS AND FEET. WE PRAY THAT YOUR TRUTH WILL NOW START TO RING TRUE AND DECEPTION WILL CEASE!
COME LORD JESUS AND MAKE YOUR PRESENCE KNOWN AS THE TRUE CHURCH WAKES UP AND RISES UP IN THESE FINAL DAYS. WE PRAY FOR A BIBLICAL AND PRAYERFUL NATION THAT IS NOT AFRAID TO STAND UP AND BE COUNTED AS A CHRISTIAN NATION. MAY YOUR TRUTH BE LIGHT AND SALT. GUIDE OUR LEADERS, FATHER, AND HELP THEM UNDERSTAND AND KNOW WHAT YOU ARE ASKING OF US AT THIS POINT OF YOUR WORLD’S HISTORY…….. IN JESUS NAME……. AMEN!

I can still remember how the winter clouds rolled in over Warragamba as our weekend of prayer came to a close. Since then the recent SUMMER DID NOT ARRIVE. We believe it is time to give THANKS TO GOD WITH A CHEERFUL HEART. We are about to embark on a Thanksgiving weekend marking one year since this ministry has begun. We are believing now for 100% of Warragamba Dam to be filled. Will you stand with us? Meaning……. plenty of GOD’S WORK still to be done…….LET’S Pray Together!

We all have much to share in the 3 areas of PRAYER, WORSHIP and IMPARTATION, so the next event will definitely have a mixture of this again. These days ahead will be to simply come together and let the Holy Spirit lead us in prayer and worship - to seek God at this strategic hour.

“If my people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14
